Tegallalang Rice Terraces
Ubud, Bali
About Tegallalang Rice Terraces
The Tegallalang rice terraces lie about 10 km north of Ubud, where rice is grown on steep valley sides watered by the subak, the Balinese cooperative irrigation system recognised by UNESCO. Walkways cross the terraces and most access points charge a small fee or donation. Early morning is the quietest time.
