About Tirta Gangga Water Palace
Tirta Gangga was built in 1946 by the last raja of Karangasem as a royal bathing garden. It is laid out around spring-fed pools with stepping stones, carved figures and an eleven-tiered fountain, set below terraced rice fields. It is about 30 minutes inland from Amed and charges a small entrance fee.
