About Pura Lempuyang Luhur
Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang is the lowest and most visited of a series of temples climbing Mount Lempuyang, one of Bali's directional temples. Its split gateway frames Mount Agung on clear mornings. Reaching the highest temple involves a climb of well over 1,000 steps; queues at the gate can be long.
