About Batu Bolong Beach
Batu Bolong is the central beach of Canggu, a wide stretch of grey-black volcanic sand backed by warungs and beach bars. The mellow reef-and-sand break is popular with longboarders and surf schools, and the small Pura Batu Bolong temple stands on the rocks at the northern end. Currents can be strong; swim near the lifeguard flags.
