About Thirasia Island
Thirasia was separated from Santorini by the prehistoric eruption and has kept a slower pace, with a few hundred residents, terraced fields and the clifftop village of Manolas above the port of Korfos. Small boats run from Ammoudi, and steps or a mule path climb to the village.
