About Skaros Rock
Skaros was the fortified seat of Santorini in Venetian times, on a promontory jutting into the caldera. A steep path from Imerovigli leads down and out to the rock, and continues around to the small chapel of Theoskepasti on the far side. Sturdy shoes are needed.
