About Rockefeller Center
Rockefeller Center is a group of limestone towers built in the 1930s around a sunken plaza that becomes an ice rink in winter, below the Christmas tree. The Top of the Rock deck on 30 Rockefeller Plaza looks south over Midtown and north across Central Park.
