About Royal Palace of La Almudaina
The Almudaina was the Muslim governors' fortress and was converted after the 13th-century conquest into a royal palace, keeping its Arab layout, courtyards and baths alongside Gothic halls and a chapel. It is still used for state occasions and is open to visitors most of the year.
