Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu & the Bukit, Bali
About Uluwatu Temple
Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a limestone cliff roughly 70 m above the Indian Ocean and is one of Bali's six key directional temples. Clifftop paths give long coastal views, and a kecak fire dance is performed in the open-air amphitheatre near sunset. Sarongs are required and the resident macaques are known for taking sunglasses.
