About The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër)
Syri i Kaltër, the Blue Eye, is a karst spring near Muzinë that feeds the Bistricë river. Water rises from a depth that has not been fully measured, giving the pool its dark blue centre and pale rim. It is a protected monument of nature; swimming is restricted and an entrance fee applies.
